Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE) Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an expert talk on “Process of Innovation Development, Technology Readiness Level (TRL); Commercialisation of Lab Technologies & Tech-Transfer” on 19^th December 2022. Ms. Osheen Chauvhan (Founder & CEO, InfiSpark) was the expert speaker of the session. 3^rd and 4^th year students attended the session.

The session focuses on importance of innovation and commercialization and make students understand the need and importance of technology readiness.

Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Srivastava (Registrar) welcomed the speaker Ms. Osheen Chauvhan (Founder & CEO, InfiSpark) and enlightened students about the importance of innovation. Ms. Osheen started with the explanation of innovation development and various processes involved in developing a new product. Next Ms. Osheen described Technology Readiness Levels (TRLS) to the students. She said TRL’s measure the maturity level of a technology throughout its research, development and deployment phase progression. She informed students TRL can the measured on scale from 1 to 9 where 1 is the initial phase and 9 is the most mature technology. Moving further she explained the commercialization of Lab Technologies and Tech – Transfer.

At the end she did a brainstorming session where students shared their project ideas with her and cleared their doubts. It was very interactive session.
